Wow, it is hard to believe that it is already the end of July and summer is half over! The first month of summer break has been a whirlwind of fun in the school age room. We are very lucky to have Stephanie and Jordy working in the room for the summer and they are full of fresh and exciting ideas! We have had so much fun making this a great summer for the children in the school age program. We have been keeping the children busy with a variety of activities to support their learning and development and, most importantly, to make sure they have plenty opportunities to have fun! Some of the most loved activities have been our STEAM challenges that included loose part creations, building zip-lines, and chemistry experiments! Science seems to be an area of interest with this group.
